in 2022. The work-from-home revolution is continuing to grow and improve its flexibility for all types of employees to be able to spend more time at their jobs without having a traditional office to go to daily, or even once a year, to meet with colleagues to discuss the progress on project, or what’s happened recently.
For those who are looking for an alternative but still need to have an office, there are many companies that are working around this idea of remote work for example, Flexjobs, Google Workspace, Zoom, etc.
There are also many other reasons why I’ll still work from my house during these times and how it works. For one thing, I don’t need to take time off from work every day because when the kids wake up, I can easily switch them back on again or put them to bed.
Also, like any normal person, my family needs me for things like cleaning dishes which I’m not able to do from my own house, such as washing clothes every week because they are so messy and I cannot change my mind about doing them all over again, let alone wash them again. So when I’m working from home, I simply do whatever I want to do that day, even if it is hard to find something else to do on a Sunday morning. For instance – I may take out my phone and call someone on social media or send an email while I eat breakfast in the morning. These small tasks make up most of the work that happens in my free time from home. Many people think that it makes less sense to spend hours on video calls or to spend weekends working from home. But after you start thinking about it, it’s obvious that these days, we are spending less time than before in our life together, and it’s only going to accelerate. In fact, today, most of the workers would like to see their company offering some kind of hybrid work option where their job is done remotely in places like flexible workplaces, coworking spaces, co-working hubs, etc.
Work from home (WFH) is an evolving process that is becoming part of modern business lives globally, both at corporate and personal levels, as well as in the workplace, and in the educational sector where students are expected to complete their courses online. WFH became popular when smartphones were introduced, and it was one of the main solutions to solve the problems of distance learning. Since then, it quickly changed to allow more freedom and flexibility of choice. It didn’t go beyond that, instead, companies started implementing more advanced and convenient ways to manage productivity. Also, there is no doubt that employees will definitely continue going to their offices to interact with their bosses every now and then to keep themselves organized. Therefore, the number of employees who work outside the boundaries of their organization will rise significantly. This will lead to demand for digital transformation, greater collaboration and communication tools, and continuous training. All in all, this workforce expects to enjoy better financial terms and benefits as well as a better standard of living.” A study conducted by Gartner reveals that almost 60% of CEOs believe that employee mobility will influence the future success of businesses. And, according to eMarketer research report, 75% of companies in America plan to implement new technologies to support remote working plans. Although this might sound weird, it’s really the truth. Because many companies and organizations across the world have shifted their focus towards adopting innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), IoT, cloud computing, blockchain, etc. As soon as a software solution is implemented, anyone who has the opportunity to use it can leverage it easily, leading them to become successful virtual employees and teleworkers. After all, you may read in your own hands about your favorite movies or books and write it down somewhere, on your laptop or even on your computer. If you have been reading this blog post for a long time, you know exactly what I mean. Imagine writing it down and printing it with a pen. Sounds perfect right? That’s just an illustration of how easy it is to learn through writing, especially at this age where everyone wants to do everything digitally. As mentioned earlier, it’s common for many organizations to shift their priorities towards providing more flexible working environments at a cheaper cost and in order to retain top talent.
